Irish Construction Excellence Awards 2023 Finalist!

Arken Construction are honoured and extremely proud to announce that we have been selected as finalists in the "Leisure" category of the upcoming Irish Construction Excellence Awards. Our project, The National Surf Centre of Excellence is a truly unique project located in the seaside village of Strandhill in Co. Sligo. We are immensely proud of the finished project and delighted to be selected as a finalist in these prestigious awards. Congratulations to all the other finalists and we look forward to meeting you on the night! 

 

Mental Health & Wellbeing Event 2019

The aim of ourMental Health & Wellbeing Briefing held in the Sligo Park Hotel on October 21st was to raise awareness on mental health issues and encourage well being among construction workers in the Northwest. Construction Safety Week 2019

We are delighted to partner with the Construction Industry Federation (CIF) on a Mental Health Awareness Event in support of Construction Safety Week 2019. The event will take place on Monday 21st of October in Sligo Park Hotel at 5:30PM. The event is open to all who work in the construction industry.

 

 

 

 

 

Club Vitae Refurbishment Works at Clayton Hotel Sligo

11th September 2019

We are pleased to announce that work has commenced on the refurbishment works to the changing rooms in Club Vitae. Demolition works are on going. Our staff are working hard to complete all works and have the changing rooms up and running again for club users within 6 weeks!

 

Arken Construction CIRI Registration

Arken Construction are proud to announce that they are now on the official register of the Construction Industry Register Ireland! CIRI is an online register, supported by Government, of competent builders, contractors, specialist sub-contractors and tradespersons who undertake to carry out construction works. Its objective is to be recognized as the primary online resource used by consumers in the public and private procurement of construction services. By registering with CIRI, members commit to delivering excellence in every aspect of their work. They are competent and capable to deliver the job at hand, they run their business in a professional manner and they sign up to continuous professional development to stay at the forefront of construction best practices.


Arrotek Medical Update

04th February 2019

Glazing is now installed & curtain walling is near completion. External metal cladding is now complete. Works are now focussed internally, in particular electrical, mechanical & ventilation. Works are being carried out as planned on schedule with no incidents.


 

 

Arken Construction Gain Safe - T - Cert Accreditation

28th November 2018

We are proud to announce that we are now Safe - T - Cert accredited, a certification scheme designed to certify the safety management system of building contractors working in the construction industry. The scheme was jointly developed by the Construction Industry Federation (CIF) in Dublin and the Construction Employers Federation (CEF) in Belfast and is based on the International Labour Office (ILO) Guidelines on Occupational Safety & Health Management Systems. This certification demonstrates our real commitment to health & safety risk management and the wellbeing of our workforce.


 

 

 

 

Arrotek Medical Project

12th October 2018

Work has commenced on the refurbishment of the old Tracktech Plant in Finisklin Business Park Sligo. The works will include the construction of offices & clean rooms in fit out of existing industrial building. Handover is expected to take place by June 2019.

 

Sligo Centre for Independent Living Update

19th September 2018

Work has commenced on the refurbishment of Sligo's Centre for Independent Living on High Street, Sligo. The works will include office fit out of vacant unit on the groundfloor of the building. Handover is expected to take place by the end of 2018.

 

Health & Safety Update
